LIAT congratulates St. Vincent and the Grenadines on 36 years of Independence

    ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, October 26, 2015 – The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, extend warm congratulations to the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the attainment of 36 years of nationhood.
     
    “I would like to wish Vincentians at home and abroad a peaceful Independence Day and a prosperous year ahead,” LIAT’s Chief Executive Officer David Evans said. St. Vincent and the Grenadines has made significant contributions to LIAT over the years and we continue to enjoy a very positive relationship.”
     
    St. Vincent and the Grenadines became an independent state on October 27, 1979. 
     
    This year, the country celebrates Independence under the theme “Working Together to Enhance National Pride.”
