St Kitts –Nevis to Host Caribbean Association of Banks (CAB) Inc. 42nd Annual General Meeting and Conference

Press Release

Basseterre, 4 November 2015 – Over 250 delegates and thirty exhibitors from across the globe will converge on St. Kitts from 11 to 14 November at the St Kitts Marriott Resort, to discuss issues affecting the banking and financial services sector.

Delegates will be attending the Caribbean Association of Banks Inc. 42nd Annual General Meeting and Conference at the St Kitts Marriott Resort, under the theme “The Financial Services Industry at Crossroads: Where to From Here?”

The Annual Conference, which is viewed as the premier event of its kind in the Caribbean, attracts senior-level executives and key decision-makers who will, through their discussions, seek solutions and develop strategies that will chart the course from the cross roads, down the path to prosperity and stability.

According to Mr. Donald Thompson, Chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee, the conference sessions will tackle issues that our member banks grapple with daily, ranging from correspondent banking relationships, compliance, cyber-crime and the increasing level of competition from various sources, among other topics.

Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to network and develop new business partnerships with regional and international financial services professionals.

The CAB's Annual General Meeting and Conference is held in November of each year and is rotated among member countries.

Individuals and entities wishing to register for the conference may contact CAB LOC Secretariat at 465-2204 ext 1622 or visit the website at www.cabconference.com.
