Charlestown Secondary Young Leaders holds recycling exhibition

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – “CREATIVE RECYCLING” was the theme for the exhibition hosted by the Young Leaders of Charlestown Secondary School on yesterday (Apr. 24) in the institution’s auditorium.

According to a release from the group, the students used plastic bottles, paper, scrap fabric and other materials, most of which were collected during the recent beach clean-up exercise.
The exhibition is part of the RBTT Young Leaders’ Project which has as its theme “The Green Revolution: A Global Challenge, A Regional Responsibility, and A National Focus”.
The release said the project is continuous, with many more clean-ups planned for the school and the wider community, and urged the public to reduce, reuse and recycle materials at every opportunity available.
