Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15, 2015 (SKNIS)—On Friday, November 13, the formal meeting of the Cabinet took place. The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Sylvester Harris.
1. Cabinet discussed a number of policy issues relating to the divestment of Government’s shares in the telecommunications sector.
2. Cabinet members engaged in matters relating to the upcoming sitting of Parliament slated for the 17th November, 2015.
3. Cabinet gave approval to real estate projects which qualify for Citizenship-by-Investment status on Nevis.
4. The Honourable Ian “Patches” Liburd, Minister of Public Infrastructure, gave an update on the construction of the new cruise ship pier.
