    BVI, 19 November 2015 - The National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands (NPT) is inviting persons to its annual Arbour Day ceremony on Friday, December 4. This year’s ceremony will be held at the Francis Lettsome Primary School at 10:00 a.m.

    The 2015 Arbour Day theme is, “Celebrating our Native Plants in a Changing Global Climate.” It highlights the significance of the NPT’s conservation efforts to protect the Territory’s endangered and endemic plant species.

    Programme speakers will include, Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE and Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr. the Honourable Kedrick D. Pickering.

    All are invited to attend.
