BASSETERRE – APRIL 27 – The Ministry of Health, Social and Community Development and the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) invites all interested persons residing in Newton Ground to be a part of Phase II of the Capacity Strengthening Skills Training Program.

The Capacity Strengthening Training Program (CSTP) is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Social & Community Development, in collaboration with the Basic Needs Trust Fund, to build the leadership capacity of community members to facilitate community organizing and empowerment.  The first phase of the program was conducted in 2007 with the communities of Conaree, Shadwell and Cayon.

Interested residents from Newton Ground will be engaged in a series of workshops designed to empower community members with the leadership, governance and management skills needed to enhance the quality of life and development of their respective communities.
