Most outstanding CSEC performers overall and in the cognate areas (2015)

    (EMU) St. Kitts, November 30 -- The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has informed the Ministry of Education that Ms. TASSANEY STEINBERGEN, a student of Verchilds High School, has produced the Most Outstanding Performance in the May-June 2015 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations for St. Kitts & Nevis. 

     

    Tassaney offered fifteen (15) subjects and her achievements are as follows: thirteen (13) Grade I passes in Agricultural Science Single Award, Biology, English A, French, Geography, Information Technology, Mathematics, Office Administration, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, Electronic Document Preparation and Management (EDPM), Physical Education and Sports and Human & Social Biology; and two (2) Grade II passes in Caribbean History and English B.  

    Xavier-Jon Bass of the Washington Archibald High School offered twelve (12) subjects and attained twelve (12) Grade I passes in: Caribbean History, English A, French, Information Technology*, Integrated Science, Mathematics, Office Administration*, Principles of Accounts*, Principles of Business*, Electronic Document Preparation & Management (EDPM)* and Physical Education and Sports and as result achieved the Most Outstanding Performance in Business for St. Kitts & Nevis.

    Orwencia Haynes of the Washington Archibald High School, offered ten (10) subjects and earned eight (8) Grade I passes in: Caribbean History*, Chemistry, English A, English B*, Mathematics, Physics, Social Studies* and Human & Social Biology; and two (2) Grade II passes in: Biology and Spanish* and as result achieved the Most Outstanding Performance in Humanities for St. Kitts & Nevis.

    Nekhaila Tyson of the Charlestown Secondary School offered fifteen (15) subjects and earned eleven (11) Grade I passes in: Agricultural Science Single Award*, Caribbean History, English A, Food & Nutrition*, Home Economics Management*, Information Technology*, Integrated Science, Mathematics, Principles of Accounts, Social Studies and Electronic Document Preparation and Management(EDPM); four (4) Grade II passes in: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Human & Social Biology and as result achieved the Most Outstanding Performance in Technical and Vocational Studies for St. Kitts & Nevis.

    The Ministry of Education congratulates Ms. Tassaney Steinbergen, Mr Xavier-Jon Bass, Ms. Orwencia Haynes and Ms. Nekhaila Tyson, their parents and respective schools on their extraordinary achievements and encourages them to continue striving for excellence as they pursue further studies.
