PM Harris celebrates birthday with constituents

    Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 05, 2015 (SKNIS)—Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis and Member of Parliament for Constituency 7, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, celebrates his 51st birthday on Sunday, December 6, beginning with a church service at Covenant Outreach in Phillips Village at 10 am and followed by a luncheon at the Constituency office in Tabernacle.

     

    Returning from a busy trip that took him to Malta for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, to Paris, France, for the 21st Conference of Parties (COP 21) Climate Change Conference, and to Washington D.C. to promote the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship-by-Investment Programme, where he took part in the launch of Belong, a new magazine promoting second citizenship in St. Kitts and Nevis, Dominica and Grenada, Prime Minister Harris said that he was extremely happy to be home to celebrate his birthday with friends, family and his beloved constituents from Belle Vue to Ottleys.

    Dr. Harris was born on December 06, 1964, and has served the people of St. Kitts and Nevis and Constituency 7 for 22 years. He is a native of the village of Tabernacle and was first elected as Member of Parliament for Constituency 7 in 1993 and has since then never lost in that seat. He was elected leader of Team Unity in 2013 and was sworn in on February 18 as the third prime minister of St. Kitts and Nevis.

    Several buses will be available for transport for the church service from 9:30 am. MAMA CHILD Bus (Ottley’s to Molineux) and NO COMMENT (Tabernacle, Mansion, Christ Church).
