(EMU) – St. Kitts, December, 7, 2015 -- Schools around the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis closed their doors to mark the end of the Academic Term this past Friday 4th December.
The term break comes in connection with the celebration of the Christmas Season when several persons relax and enjoy much needed rest and relaxation. Of course many others are also eagerly anticipating their participation in the National Carnival celebrations for the Federation and are gearing up for the festivities.
Ms. Natalie Francis, Teacher at the St. Pauls Primary School had this to say about her upcoming vacation, “I am very excited about going home on Christmas Break, as I had a wonderful time with my students throughout this term.
As I remember that Christmas is approaching, and it is the time for giving and sharing and spending time with family and friends and I will surely use this time to do such thing and also to reach out to other persons within the community as well.”
A few students of the Joshua O. Williams Primary School simply stated, “We’re very excited for the Christmas break!”
The Ministry of Education wished Administrative staff at the schools, teachers and students, all the very best for the Christmas and Carnival Season filled with peace and relaxation.
The new school terms commences on Monday 4thJanuary 2016.
