COURT CONVICTIONS:
December 8th, 2015 -- Cleveland Dyer of Half Way Tree who was charged with the offence of simple wounding which was committed on 11th September 2015 at Main Street Old Road, was convicted for the offence and was sentenced to serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment at hard labour.
Aldain Daniel aka “Black” of the Abbott West Farm who was charged with two (2) counts of Battery that was committed on 3rd September 2015 at West Farm, was convicted for the offence and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 on each charge to be paid by 22nd December 2015 or in default to serve thirty (30) days imprisonment each at hard labour.
Steve Carty aka “Quackma” of Willetts Estate St. Pauls who was charged with the offence of Aggravated assault upon a female which was committed on 13th March 2015 at Willetts, was convicted for the offence and was sentenced to serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment at hard labour.
Desmond Connor aka “Typer or Secrets” of Willetts St. Pauls who was charged with the offence of Driving Omni-bus HA-167 without Due Care and Attention committed on 16th April 2015 along the island main road at Old Road Bay, was convicted for the offence and was ordered to pay a fine of $800 by 18th December 2015 or in default to serve thirty (30) days imprisonment at hard labour.
Jason Clarke aka “Whippy” of Half-Way-Tree Village who was charge with the offences of driving motor car PA-8855 while under the influence of drink (DUI) and for Driving without Due Care and Attention which was committed on 30th May 2015 along the island main road at West Farm was convicted for the offences and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 on each to be paid by 18th December 2015 or in default, serve thirty (30) days imprisonment on each charge at hard labour.
