    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 23rd, 2015 -- Leroy ‘Ray’ Phillip of Challengers Village who was arrested and formally charged and cautioned for possession of cannabis and obstruction was granted bail and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 4thJanuary 2016. 
     
    Kylan Battice of Pond's Extension who was charged for possession of Firearm was granted bail and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 1st January 2016. Other conditions of his bail are (A) surrender all travel documents, report to the Basseterre Police Station 6am - 6pm.
     
    Jamarie Herbert of Lower Monkey who was charged for possession of firearm was granted bail and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 1st January 2016. Other conditions of his bail are (A) surrender all travel documents, report to the Basseterre Police Station 6am - 6pm.
     
    Fitzroy Dean of Lower project, Saddler's Village who was charged for larceny of tools was granted bail and is schedule to make an appearance at the Dieppe Magistrate Court on Monday, 4th January, 2016.
     
    ARREST:
     
    Akeem Christopher of Prickley Alley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of possession of cannabis, which took place on 15th December 2015 at the Terminal. Christopher received bail and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 4th January 2016.
     
    COURT CONVICTION:
     
    Leon Jeffers of Fiennes Avenue, Basseterre and Labriska Sweeney of Hamilton Road, Nevis were both found guilty of Possession of one Smith and Wesson pistol and eleven (11) rounds of ammunition. Incident occurred on 24th August, 2013.
    Leon Jeffers was sentenced to two (2) years and six (6) months on both charges, sentence to run concurrently, while Labriska Sweeney was sentenced to four (4) years imprisonment on both charges, sentence to run concurrently.
     
    Adorington "Dutts" Govia of McKnight was convicted for the offence of larceny and was sentenced to serve six (6) months imprisonment. Incident occurred on December 14th 2015.
     
    20 years old Dwight Burke of Fig Tree, Sandy Point who was charged with the offence of resisting arrest committed on 23rd November 2013 at Sandy Point was convicted and ordered to pay a fine of $700.00 by 15th January 2016 or in default to serve thirty (30) days in prison at hard labour.
     
    Laureston Ryan of Sandy Point who was charged for the offence of resisting arrest committed on 26th April 2014 at Sandy Point was convicted and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 to be paid by 30th December 2015 or in default thirty (30) days at hard Labour.
     
    Radhat Kethpal, a Windsor University Student was convicted for careless driving which occurred on 14th December 2015 at Brighton and was ordered to pay $400.00 in one (1) day or twenty one(21) days in prison.
