Christmas Cheer the Delisle Walwyn Way – Reaching out to the St Christopher Outreach Center

Press Release

December 23rd, 2015 -- “Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most” - Ruth Carter Stapleton. It was with this in mind that members of the Management Team of the Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies chose to volunteer their time to assist the staff and volunteers at the St Christopher Outreach Center in the serving and distributing of a special Christmas-themed lunch to the homeless, poverty stricken and shut-ins in our Community.

The team members reflected on the experience as a rewarding and enlightening one as sometimes we take for granted that there are persons in our community that are not as fortunate as others and who need a helping hand, an encouraging word and a show of kindness to lift their spirit and keep hope and happiness alive in their hearts.

Since 2013 each year just before Christmas the Management Team of the Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies has dedicated half a day to bring cheer, and give of their time and the company’s financial resources to assist persons in the community who find themselves in challenging circumstances.

This year’s special Christmas-themed lunch comes on the heels of the company making a donation of $12,000 to the Center in support of the valuable contribution the Center makes to the local community.

The Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies wishes everyone in the Federation a blessed, peaceful and cheerful holiday season!
