Basseterre, St. Kitts, 15th February 2016 (CYA SKN) – In celebration of Black History Month, the St. Kitts – Nevis CARICOM Youth Ambassadors in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Department of Youth Empowerment and Department of Culture will be hosting the first ever High School Choir Festival.

The choir festival is named in honor of one of the greatest musical icons in the Federation, Miss Pamela Wall. The festival’s aim is to bring about awareness of the Arts in the Federation and to also shed some positive light on the lives of young people, especially at this time where the Federation is being plagued by Crime and Violence. Moreover, the festival will feature performances by a Combined School Choir and local artists.

The Miss Pamela Wall High School Choir Festival will be held on Wednesday, 24th February, 2016 at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium, ECCB at 7:00pm Sharp. The event is free and all persons are invited.
