BVI, 17 February 2016 - The public is notified that there is one-lane-traffic on the Sir Francis Drake Highway near Nanny Cay due to road works being executed in the area.

The road works are in relation to the Phase V Power Development Programme for which transmission cables are currently being installed from Pockwood Pond to Long Bush.

Motorists driving into Road Town are being asked to use alternative routes and to follow all road signs to alleviate congestion.

Residents of West End and Carrot Bay in particular are asked to use the Ridge Road in to and out of Road Town.

The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.
