    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – The contribution of the Federation’s first National Hero the Right Excellent Sir Robert L. Bradshaw to the attainment of Statehood on February 27th, 1967, the first step towards political independence, will be highlighted next week.

     

    The Robert L. Bradshaw Centennial Celebration Committee announced Wednesday that Queen’s Counsel, Dr. Henry Stogumber Browne, Mr. Clement “Bouncing” Williams and Mr. Clement “Juni” Liburd will lead the discussion on Thursday 25th February 2016.

    The event takes place at the Methodist Church Hall, the Old Basseterre Boys School on the corner of Victoria Road and Seaton Street in Basseterre.
     
    It begins at 8 p.m. and will be moderated by June Charles.
