Crooner’s Inquest resulted in justifiable homicide

By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – THE inquest into the shooting-death of 17-year-old Philo Wallace ended today (Mar. 10) at the Charlestown Magistrate Court in Nevis and the jury returned a verdict of justifiable homicide.

This information was confirmed by Deputy Commissioner Hilroy Brandy who, when contacted this afternoon, said a press release would be issued with details of the findings.

SKNVibes learned that the verdict indicates that the evidence given by some two dozen witnesses had justified the reason for the off-duty police officer shooting the teenager.

Wallace was shot at about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Enrique’s Bar and shortly after succumbed to his injuries at the Alexandra Hospital.

More on this matter in a subsequent article.
