Police Week 2K16 is scheduled from Oct 30 - Nov 5

    The Royal St. Christopher & Nevis Police Sports Club is proud to announce that there will be A Police Week this year.

     

    Police Week 2K16 is scheduled from Oct 30 - Nov 5.
     
    May 17th, 2016 -- Activities during this week would include a National Address declaring Police Week Open, Church Service, March Pass through Basseterre, Queen Show, Calypso Show, Drills Competition, Sports Day, Dinner & Awards Ceremony, etc. A Week of Activities calendar would be sent out in the future. In the build up to this year's Police Week, several activities would be hosted by the Police Sports, including Football, Basketball & Cricket matches, Island Relays, etc. These activities would accumulate points which would go towards the different houses, Service Improvement - Gold, ART&I - Green, Crime - Red and Operations - Blue.

    A Slogan Competition that is open to the general public is currently ongoing and ends on 1st July 2016. Also, the Calypso Show is currently being advertised and open for entry by any member of Nation Security,  whilst the Queen Show Is Open only to Police Officers. Flyers for all three (3) of these events can be found attached to this email.

    The Police Sports Club is also hosting Interdepartmental T20 Cricket Matches and has seen Special Services Unit (SSU) defeat Police Training School (Recruits) 141/6 to 140/10 and Crime defeating District B 145/6 to 142/8. The Next Interdepartmental T20 Cricket Match will see SSU go up against District A on 21st May 2016 1pm @ Flow Grounds.

    We're also hosting Monthly Health Walks dubbed "Walk For Health" in an effort to promote healthier and fitter Police Officers. The general public is also encouraged to join us every month on these walks as the next walk is scheduled for the 4th June 2016 @ 5am. All the walks would begin at Police Training School so that we can have a safe location for parking, etc.
