BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE individual who is believed to have wounded a police officer on the evening of May 29 was recently taken into police custody, according to a report from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

Yesterday (Jun. 1), a wanted bulletin was issued by the Police Force’s Public Relations Office indicating that Audington Syder was wanted in connection with an incident that occurred on the evening of May 29 in the Basseterre area.

SKNVibes understands that a boat ride was held and after an altercation occurred a police officer tried to intervene and was stabbed in the process.

This publication also understands that sometime during the early-morning hours of today, Syder was picked up by the police who reportedly received information from the public about his whereabouts. He is said to have been picked up in or near his home.

The release makes no mention of charges which suggest that if any are to be laid, that process has yet to take place.

“The Police extends its appreciation to the media for assisting in widest dissemination of the information and to the general public for their assistance”.
