July 6th, 2016 – The Solid Waste Management Corporation would like to inform the general public that the Corporation’s Headquarters on Taylor’s Range and the Conaree Landfill will be closed to the public on Thursday 7th July, 2016. This is to accommodate the staging of the Corporation’s 2016 General Assembly.
There will be no collection on Thursday 7th July. Residents in areas where collection is normally executed on Thursdays are required to have their garbage out and ready for collection on Wednesday 6th July instead.
The landfill at Conaree resumes normal working hours from 6:00 am, Friday 8th July and Headquarters reopens to serve the public at 8:30 am, Friday 8th July.
