BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 18TH 2005
Dutch St. Maarten's Commissioner of Energy, the Hon. Roy Marlin leads a 150-contingent from that island's Water and Electricity Authority  GEBE to St. Kitts this weekend.
Spokesman for the St. Kitts Electricity Department, Miss Arlene Joseph said GEBE chose the St. Kitts Electricity Department to share in this milestone.

As their Kittitian counterparts, we want to ensure they have an exciting and fun-filled time with us as we welcome and interact with them as they celebrate 45 years of service to the Dutch Antilles, said Joseph, who said that the GEBE  employees include senior officials of GEBE.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion, a number of activities have been planned including an island tour of St. Kitts and Nevis, a Cultural Evening and Dinner at the Angelus Resort, Sporting Events at the Cable & Wireless Playing Field and a Beach BBQ at the South East Peninsular, said Joseph.

The Cultural Evening and Dinner will be held under the distinguished patronage of St. Kitts and Nevis Minister of Public Works, Utilities, Transport and Post, the Hon. Dr. Earl Asim Martin.
