BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO individuals are currently in police custody following the execution of a search warrant on a property in Conaree Village that resulted in the find of a 9mm air pistol and a stolen motorcycle.
The search was conducted early this morning (Nov. 5) by members of the Frigate Bay Police Station and the Special Services Unit.
According to a police communiqué, Inspector Phillip Eddy of the Frigate Bay Police Station said: “Our operation this morning was a success. We recovered a motorcycle previously reported as stolen and even more significant, albeit an air pistol. We removed an instrument that can be used in crime from the community.”
“If you were to be approached with it, it will bring the same degree of fear,” he added.
It explained that the search was conducted on suspicion that illegal firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs and instruments that could be used to support or used in criminal activity were on the premises.
