Regrettably we announce the death of Gertrude Smith Pemberton of Burden Pasture, at the age of 81 years. The sad event took place on Sunday 10th August, 2008.

She leaves to mourn

7 children Yvonne Pemberton in UK, Irma and Calvin Smith in Puerto Rico, Carlyle Byron, Judith and Nevilla Smith in USA and Merlin Smith better known as Twin.

1 daughter-in-law Maggie Byron.

2 sons-in-law George "Seckey" Pemberton and Calvin Browne.

Serveal grand children and inlaws including Andrea Smith, Errol and Monica Pemberton, Oscar and Niomi Brookes, Pamella and Anthony Martin, Aleta Liburd, Nigel Morris, Kevin and Wesley Herbert and Brian Pemberton in UK.

Great grand children: Oscarno and Michaela at home.

2 brothers Martin and Gerard Pemberton in UK.

Sisters Winifred Smith, Emily, Mavis and Gwendolyn Pembertin, Ilecy Simms, Ermine Jeffers, and Floretta Hobson and their families.

Several nieces and nephews including Ulrica Stevens, Kenrick better known as Bafford and Sylvester Smith, Winette & Florel Hobson, Andy Gian and Sheldon Pemberton

Funeral service of the late Gertrude Smith Pemberton was held on Tuesay 19th August, 2008 at the Gingerland Methodist Church at 3.00 p.m. Interment was at the Gingerland cemetery.
