Regrettably, we announce the death of Charles Samuel Liburd of Government Road, at the age of 97 years.  The sad event took place on Monday 9th.

Mr. Liburd is survived by:-

5 Children: Kenneth Liburd in England, Leroy and Scott Liburd in St. Croix, Enid Manners and Agnola Liburd at home;

29 Grand Children, including Ellory and Stephen Liburd in the US Navy, Hillary and Adrian Liburd in England, Kimberly Liburd in Germany, Orlando, Gregory, Neil, and

Shari Forbes, Cherry, Seymour, Heather, Leon, Leesa and Daren Liburd and Leon Evadnay in the USA, Shari and Natasha Liburd and Darlene Browne in St. Croix, Coleen Govia, Sean Forbes and Rawlston Collins in St. Kitts, Julie Liburd, Lynetta, Carl and Franchette Manners,and Lafford Forbes at home;

    

Several Great Grand Children, including, Cherese Harvey in St. Thomas, Tijorn Govia in St. Kitts, Keyonna, Julene, Micahail, Franchette Jr, Sebastian, Julius, Joanne and Brandon Manners, Lawten, Lawvander and Lawvington Forbes and Latan Liburd at home;

3 great great Grand Children: Chantel Liburd in England, Tarique Nibbs and Nazio Manners at home;

His Nephews, including Samuel Smith in the USA, Colin Smith in Bermuda, Dr. Linton Liburd, Hermon, Claudie and Irvin Liburd at home;

His Nieces, including Hildred Lawrence in St. Kitts, Daphne Buffong, Amethyst Charles, Myrna Tyrell, Leonora Jean Jacques, Marilyn Liburd, Ilis Walters and

Olive Belle at home;

2 Daughters-in-Law: Elizabeth and Carrow Liburd in St. Croix;

1 Grand Son-in-Law: Alonzo Govia in St. Kitts;

3 Grand Daughters-in-Law: Grace and Leta Manners and Hyacinth Forbes;

Her God-Children, including Donald Cornelius and Eugene Pemberton;

And many other Relatives and Friends at home and abroad, including Elaine Maynard and family and Sonia Bridgewater in St. Kitts, the Drew family, Wilma Cornelius, Violet Finley, Eulyn Rawlins, and their families, Jennifa Freeman, Joycelyn and Antonio Liburd, Irene Parris, Conrad Taylor, Hermon Ward, Albert and Sophina Watts, Myrna Webbe, Patricia Williams, the Government Road Community and the Methodist Congregation.

The Funeral service for the late Charles Samuel Liburd will be held at the Charlestown Methodist Church on Wednesday 18th at 3.00p.m. and the interment will be at the Bath Cemetery.
