Comment: This is excellent. The more unity and exposure the Federation gets, the better it will be for the artists and the Federation. Calypso artists from Dominica go on tour every year, and the events are well attended. We have to support our own. It will be economic suicide for us not to make a collective and concerted effort to ensure that our artists are able to continue producing. If the artists go away, the Federation’s entertainment’s landscape will be like a forest without trees.

Comment: This is the type of activities that will have a positive impact on these youths. Keep up the good works brother, and keep assisting in molding positive and productive minds. Keep marching them to majesty and away from Her Majesty’s Prison. God Bless.

Comment: The honorable Prime Minister needs to begin with his own explanation of why he has covertly orchestrated a plan to inhibit the introduction of the Integrity in Public Life Bill, and why the nation is in so much debt. We would also like the Prime Minister to present statistical data to show that the people want to be taxes to death through Voters Appreciation Tax, better known as VAT.

Comment: The Powers That Be appears to be in collusion with the contractors; therefore, the injured workers and the family of the deceased worker have no one to turn to for just compensation. As someone commented previously, the only recourse may be to seek off island legal assistance.

Comment: The decision to render the investigation inconclusion is a conscious attempt to minimize liability, or to exonerate those who are responsible. Someone collected large sums of money for that project; therefore, someone has to be held responsible. Some people like to embrace successes, but distance themselves from failures. The little guy should not have to suffer while the people at the top lavish in the lap of luxury.

Comment: Excellent point; some of us complain about the economic challenges, but still continue to make poor decisions with our limited resources. Some people have two blackberries, costing over 3,000 dollars, but complain that they have no money to buy food. Where are they priorities?

Comment: I have always advocated the implementation of financial literacy in the schools, may be as early as primary school, and I have to applaud Sknvibes for the continued dissemination of information on ways to save and build wealth. It is just disheartening to see citizens marking an effort to save, while incompetent government officials squander resources, and then erode people’s financial resources through higher taxes, and fees.

Comment: May be the monkeys were listening to the Small Axe Band song “Drink as You Like”. I was wondering who all those people were singing that song in the bushes; now I know.
