Man stabbed to death at Taylor’s Village

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SKNVibes has confirmed that a man was stabbed to death this evening (Mar. 10) in Taylors Village, Basseterre.

     

    Commander for District ‘A’ Superintendent Cromwell Henry told this publication that the incident occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. at a shop in the area.

     

    While he indicated that details are sketchy, he informed that the deceased is 54-year-old Ashton Christopher of Taylors Village and that he was stabbed once to the right side of his chest.

     

    Christopher’s is the Federation’s third homicide for the year and investigations are being made.

     

    The Superintendent said that investigation is still in its initial stage and the assistance of the public would be appreciated.

     

    “We are still in early stages of investigation and so the police require as much information as possible. We encourage anyone who was present and who can assist, to provide the information to the investigators. You can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) if you wish to assist anonymously, or you can call the Violent Crimes Unit or the Criminal Investigations Department at 465-2241.”

     

    SKNVibes understands that one suspect is in the Police's custody.
