Results of Ashleigh’s autopsy revealed

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has released the autopsy results for Charles Ashleigh Browne who died last week.

     

    Browne was struck by a bus on April 7 while he was walking along the Frigate Bay Road, on his way from his job at Leeward Cove. The incident occurred at about 4:45a.m.

    The Soho Village resident, who was walking towards Basseterre, was on the right side of the road when the vehicle – P8282 – which was travelling in the opposite direction, struck him.

    He died on the scene.

    The Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Office has informed that according to the autopsy results, Browne died from “severe thoracic shock with hemorrhage and shock as a result of the accident”.

    SKNVibes understands the autopsy was conducted this morning (Apr. 11).

    Browne is the Federation’s third road fatality since the commencement of 2017. And all three have taken place in St. Kitts.

    Investigations into the incident are being made.
