Caribbean Lotto becomes Music Festival bronze sponsor

By: Caribbean Lotto, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts, 27th April, 2017 - Caribbean Lotto became a Bronze Sponsor for the 2017 edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival, when the company partnered with the festival through a significant sponsorship.

In a brief ceremony at the Caribbean Lotto’s corporate office on Wednesday, 26th April, Caribbean Lotto Marketing Manager Cecil Greene handed over a cheque in the amount of EC$27,000 to Karen Ford, the head of the Sponsorship Committee of the St. Kitts Music Festival.

Commenting on the 2017 sponsorship from Caribbean Lotto, Ford said, “We are happy that Caribbean Lotto, once again, has come on board as a sponsor. This year, we are even more happy that the Lotto increased its sponsorship… and for that we are eternally grateful.”

Referring to the sponsorship, Greene commented, “The St. Kitts-Nevis Lottery is very happy and very proud to be a sponsor for the St. Kitts Music Festival once again. The Music Festival is a big event of which we are proud to be a part that we have increased our sponsorship. We are an entertainment company and that just falls in line in with what we do.”

Ford responded, “This 27 thousand dollars will be very instrumental in the successful staging of the 21st edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival.” She thanked Caribbean Lotto for its continuing support.

Commenting on sponsors and the festival, Ford said, “The festival itself is very expensive, so sponsors are absolutely essential.”

She continued, “If we can defray some of the costs through sponsorship, either in cash or in kind, it goes a long way in terms of the staging of the festival.”

Speaking of the support coming from the corporate community, Ford said, “So far it has been good, but we are still appealing to corporate entities to come on board for the 2017 St. Kitts Music Festival.”
