May 9th, 2017 -- SKNOC President, Mr. Alphonso Bridgewater, on the occasion of his re-election as a member of PASO Executive Committee, receives letter of congratulations from Mr Sergey Bubka.
Mr. Bubka, an Olympic Gold medallist, is the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, an Executive Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and a Vice President of the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF).
In his letter of May 3rd, Mr. Bubka on behalf of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Olympic Family penned "it is my great pleasure and honour to convey our sincerest congratulations to you on your re-election".
He showed deep respect and appreciation for Mr. Bridgewater's skills and leadership prowess and further stated "I am sure that your professional contribution to the Pan American Sports Organization will ensure its dynamic development, further promotion of sports as a way of life among the people of your continent".
He ended his warm letter with an expansive and supportive wish for Mr. Bridgewater "I wish you every success in implementing your initiatives and performing your duties, new achievements and inspiration in your daily challenging activities for the benefit of sport and Olympism".
The St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic family continue to feel very proud of this son of our soil as he endeavours to continue to work at his life's passion of service through sport.
