Scripture: Ecclesiastes 12:1
In the beginning all things were created by God and without Him was not anything made that was made. (Jn. 1: 5)
Young people should remember there is a God because He is the Creator. He made us out of the dust of the earth and must return to it. He has favoured us with life and in Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17: 28) All that we needed He has provided. He has bestowed blessings on us forever more.
Young people should fear God, worship Him, serve Him, honour Him and love Him when your bodies are healthy, strong and vigorous, senses quick, powers of the faculties and mind are sharp and capable of improving and developing; when you have the enthusiasm, the valor, the idealism to change the world, the adventurousness and the strength of youth.
To delay to serve God in old age would be ungrateful, improper and risky. No one can be sure they will reach old age. (Young people are dying daily from self-inflicted and self-destructive reasons.)
Additionally, it would be hard to remember God in the evil days of old age: affliction, pain, aches of all kinds, disease, sickness, infirmities, weakness of the body, sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch being diminished or lost and the time when you will have no pleasure of the things of the world.
When you remember God you obey and honour your Heavenly Father and in like manner you would obey and honour your earthly parents. You will respect and revere them, will be kind to them, help them in sickness and in need, support them in old age and you will be blessed.
When you remember God in your youth, He will prepare and make the way for your success, prosperity, health, long life and He will make your dream come true.
To disobey God will bring ill-health, untimely deaths of many young people, ruin, misfortune, hardships, curses, pain and suffering.
Young people, the choice is yours to make.
