BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INTENSE football action is expected this evening as the first of the best-of-three Finals of the SKNFA Final Four Championship kicks off with defending champions FLOW 4G Cayon Rockets taking on H.E. Garden Hotspurs at Warner Park.
Both teams took different paths to the Finals, and Cayon will be high on confidence as they qualified as the top team of the Final Four.
Cayon went unbeaten in the playoffs as they edged St. Paul’s 2-1 and Spurs 1-0, while hammered Village Superstars 4-nil.
Meanwhile, Spurs had a tough time when they drew nil-all against St. Paul’s, a 1-nil loss to Cayon but redeemed themselves with 5-1 drubbing of Superstars in a must-win encounter on the final night of games in the Playoffs.
Spurs had edged out St. Paul’s on goal difference to qualify for the best-of-three Finals.
Action kicks off at 6:00 p.m. at the football ground at Warner Park, while the second game of the Finals is slated for June 14 and the final game, if necessary, on June 17.
