- BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AS gunmen continue to execute their brazen and unscrupulous acts by both night and day in the Federation, just 24 hours after a young man was gunned down in the JNF General Hospital, another man is currently warded at the same medical institution after being shot this morning (Jun. 21) in Ottley’s Village.
This was confirmed by the police who, in a press release, said that the incident was reported around 11:40 a.m. and members of the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating.
The release stated that initial investigations revealed that the victim was shot by an unknown assailant and he was taken to the Mary Charles Hospital in Molineaux for immediate treatment and later to the JNF General Hospital.
The police however did not provide the victim's name or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
