Ottley’s Village shooting victim identified

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE man, who was reportedly killed this morning (Jul. 4) following a shooting incident in Ottley’s Village, was identified as Keshorne Edwards.

     

    According to a police report, the 26-year-old was originally from Ramsbury, Nevis.

    SKNVibes however understands that at the time of his demise, Edwards was residing in Upper Cayon.

    The report stated that investigations conducted by the Violent Crimes Unit revealed that just before 1:00 a.m., Edwards was shot by an unknown assailant or assailants while driving his vehicle in the vicinity of the Water Tank in Ottley’s Village.

    Investigations into this shooting-death are ongoing and the police have requested that anyone who might have any information regarding it to share same with them.

    Such information can be passed to the Violent Crimes Unit at 467-1886, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) or by using the SKN Crime Reporter App on your Smartphone.

    Keshorne Edwards’ death has taken to 17 the number of homicides committed in the Federation for this year; 11 on St. Kitts and six on Nevis.
