Capisterre, St Kitts, 28th July, 2017 -  It’s that time of the year again! The Federation’s most anticipated community football league is back. Following its successful hosting last year, the 2017 edition of the Capisterre Development Football League (CDFL) will be kicking off this weekend with the hosting of two official events.

On Friday 28th July at 7 pm, all participating teams will gather in St. Paul’s on the lawn next to the National bank’s ATM, where the launch of the league’s kits will take place. At this event, each team will be presented with official league jerseys.

The following day, Saturday 29th July, the excitement will move to the Old Recreation ground in St. Paul’s for the opening ceremony and the first two games.

During the ceremony, prizes and trophies will be presented to last year’s winners of special categories. These include ‘Best Youngest Footballer’, ‘Golden Boot’, ‘Golder Glove’, and ‘Most Valuable Player’ (MVP).
