GIS, 25 August 2017 -- The International Tax Authority is informing all BVI Financial Institutions that it has updated its list of Reportable Jurisdictions and the updated list is applicable to the reporting period January 1 to December 31, 2016.
The list has been updated to include: Croatia and Poland. This update is as a result of the Coordinating Body Secretariat of the Common Reporting Standards, recently releasing the results of its fourth round of activations of bilateral exchange relationships under the Common Reporting Standards, Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement. BVI Financial Institutions must submit all filings by September 1, 2017 to ensure compliance with the Standards.
The updated List of Reportable Jurisdictions has been published in the Gazette of August 24, 2017 and is also available online at: http://www.bvi.gov.vg/aeoi-crs
