As we prepare for the passing of Hurricane Maria, the Ministry of Education officially announces that ALL Government schools will be closed from 12:00 p.m. today 18th September, 2017.
In addition The Independence events that are spearheaded by the Ministry of Education have been revised as a result of the interruptions caused by weather conditions. The revised schedule is as follows:

1. The Primary Schools Independence Elocution Competition will take place first in zones on Thursday, 28th September, 2017. The winners of each zone will compete on Friday, 6th October, 2017 at 7p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, Sandy Point.
2. The Night of Dance remains on Friday, 30th September, 2017 at 7p.m at E.C.C.B Auditorium.
3. The Night of the Choirs will be on Tuesday, 24th October, 2017 at 7p.m. at the E.C.C.B Auditorium.
4. The Night of the Drama will be on Tuesday, 14th November, 2017 at the E.C.C.B Auditorium at 7p.m
