BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A Christ Church man has been warded at the Joseph N. France General Hospital nursing stab wounds allegedly inflicted by a woman.

Sometime Thursday evening (June 25), SKNVibes received information indicating that Alexis Charles, who is said to be 19 years of age, was stabbed by a female who was identified only as bearing the last name Amory.

When contacted, the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Inspector Cromwell Henry indicated that he did not have access to the information then but has since informed that at about 9:00 on the night in question, police received report of a stabbing incident.

“As a result of the report, police went to the Joseph N. France General Hospital and spoke with Alexis Charles of Christ Church who reported that he was outside Pencheon’s Shop sitting on a wall when he was attacked and stabbed by Kimone Amory,” Henry explained.

He further explained that the victim was taken to the hospital where he received treatment for the chest and arm wounds he sustained during the incident.

Charles’ alleged attacked is said to be in her early 20s and, according to Henry, is being sought by the police. When found, the police indicated, she would be taken into custody for questioning and assistance with their investigations.

The usual appeal is being issued to members of the public to pass on information about Amory’s whereabouts to the nearest police station or to the Basseterre Police Station at 465-2241.

    Investigations are ongoing.
