Green Valley Global Inc. Spreads it "Hands Across Caribbean Lands"

By: Green Valley Global, Inc., Press Release

October 6th, 2017 -- Green Valley Global, Inc. a not-for-profit organization based in the U.S., has pledged its support to victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

On Saturday September 16, 2017, members and friends of the organization delivered supplies such as toothpaste, toilet paper, toothbrushes, shoes and slightly worn clothing to assist in Hurricane relief efforts as result of  Hurricanes Irma and Maria that wreaked havoc on several islands earlier this month.

Thousands of nationals in the path of Hurricanes Irma and Maria reside outside of St. Kitts and Nevis and have become homeless as a result of the devastation of the Hurricanes.

Many nationals from St. Kitts and Nevis and all over the world have been so moved by the destruction and disruption caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria that they have offered their time, efforts, and resources to assist in whatever way they can to help alleviate the stress many victims face.

Meanwhile, Green Valley Global, Inc. is also focusing on engaging the children of the Diaspora to be mindful of the students of the Caribbean who have suffered tremendous loss as a result of the Hurricanes and to think of ways in which they can help them overcome the catastrophic experiences caused by Hurricane Irma.

The organization will host its 7th annual Youth Talent Fest on Saturday November 18th with this year's theme being, "Hands Across Caribbean Lands."

This year's event is being organized with a focus on Youth and their contributions to mankind, in light of the devastation of Hurricanes Irma, Maria and Harvey. It is deemed to be a platform for young people to sound off and showcase their multiplicity of talents.

This year's Fest is slated for Saturday November 18, 2017 at 6:30 pm at the Church of the Holy Nativity located at 3061 Bainbridge Avenue in the Bronx, New York.

Many nationals still believe St. Kitts and Nevis was spared from devastation so that the people of our Nation could extend a hand of deep kindness to others.

GVG Inc. deems outreach of this scope to be its duty to humanity first and foremost, as people need each other in bad times just as much as we need each other when times are good.

We invite our Diaspora community to support GVG, Inc.'s initiatives and to extend a helping hand to our neighbors during this difficult time.
