KINGSTON, Jamaica – BET AWARDS 2009 Best New Artiste winner Keri Hilson was added to the mega star lineup for Jamaica’s Reggae Sumfest International Night One.

Hilson will be performing on Friday, July 24, and will join an already dazzling array of stars including Jazmine Sullivan, Ne-Yo, Morgan Heritage, Jah Cure, Queen Ifrica and Coco Tea.

Hilson is a talented singer and songwriter. He has penned songs for Usher, Diddy, Ciara, Chris Brown, Mary J Blige, Omarion, The Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears and is a member of The Cluth group of producers.

Her first album, ‘In A Perfect World’, which was released earlier this year, made it to the top spot on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It was also number four on the Billboard Top Album Chart in the week of its debut.

According to Yardflex.com, Reggae Sumfest kicks off with a beach party on Sunday, July 19 and continues with three days of live performances at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, beginning with Dancehall Night on Thursday, July 23 and ending with International Night Two on Saturday, July 25.
