Ambassador Condor Engages Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. in New York

By: (CACCI), Press Release

October 24th, 2017 -- On Friday September 29, 2017, Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, His Excellency Sam Condor joined other Ambassadors and Leaders of the Caribbean in saluting the work of the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CACCI) in Brooklyn, New York, to discuss an array of issues related to community building and resource allocation.

Following the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, many Caribbean leaders have spoken up about the vulnerabilities they face as a result of natural disasters and the consequences of these disasters on their various economies. The CACCI engagement allowed for the dialogue on these vulnerabilities to continue.

The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CACCI) is an Organization that allows its resources to be used for the personal development of entrepreneurs, the advancement of small businesses, and the growth and development of their respective communities. It has provided over thirty years of support to Small Caribbean American Business entities.

Ambassador Condor was honored to join and commend CACCI President and Founder, Mr. Roy A. Hastick for the creation of this Organization that provides the environment and avenue for the growth and development of Caribbean Nationals living in the Diaspora.

Renowned Nevisian businessman and CACCI Chairman Mr. Edmund Sadio was also part of the informative and insightful meeting of officials. He was immensely pleased to have Ambassador Condor join the discussion. Ambassador Condor spoke openly on issues including resource building and strategizing.  He deemed the Organization’s efforts to develop, grow and support the various business ventures of Caribbean Nationals in the Diaspora as exemplary, commendable and highly appreciated.

CACCI is celebrating 32 years of service to the Caribbean and American community and announced plans to transform the Flatbush Caton Market in Brooklyn, New York to an expanded Vendors Market. This will also be the new location for the Headquarters of the CACCI and the Caribbean American Trade Center (CATC).

Ambassador Condor continues to engage in a variety of networking and collaborative initiatives that help to build stronger relationships with a view to ensure that the concerns of Caribbean nationals are given due attention.

Condor encouraged CACCI to continue to host initiatives that help build stronger, more emboldened Caribbean American communities.
