Spice Refuses To Slow Down

Spice

Step aside all the 'Trinas' of the industry, Spice is the baddest chick in the dancehall game and there's no doubt about it, and that's meant in a 'no-bad-connotations' kind of way.

Immediately after launching her clothing line and store Spicey Couture two weeks ago, dancehall artiste, Spice, left the island that Friday to do shows in Tampa (Saturday), Brooklyn Music Festival (Sunday), Rubies & Ice in Queens (Thursday), Cayman (last Friday) and finally it's back in Jamaica on Saturday for two shows in Brown's Town and Portland. Undeniably a hectic schedule and Spice is loving every minute of it.

In reference to the Brooklyn Music Festival, she says, "[It] was great! It was raining, but the people were still out there with their umbrellas, so I just went ahead with the performance. I was right before Capelton and it was a great performance because I brought a lot of energy to the stage, doing some splits and that sort of thing. Performing for me, is always about giving the fans a really entertaining show, so that's what I try to do all the time," says Spice.

Spice again leaves the island on July 3rd for an energetic performance in Trinidad.
