BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO popular teams in the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) Premier League blew away their opponents in the latest round of matches at the Warner Park Football Stadium.
In a goal fest last evening (Nov. 11), Hobson Enterprise Garden Hotspurs thrashed St. Thomas Trinity United 4-nil.
Steve Archibald opened the scoring in the 4th minute of the game and Kennedy Isles followed suit in the 17th.
Rovan Wigley rub the proverbial salt into Trinity United’s wound when he found the back of the net in the 67th minute, while Archibald added his second in the 90th .
In the second game of the triple header evening, defending champions Flow 4G Cayon taught Fast Cash Saddlers a lesson with a 4-nil trouncing.
Senior player Carlos Bertie displayed excellent skills in scoring a hat trick in the 4th, 16th and 25th minutes, while Alex Charles netted in 55th.
That victory, however, still leaves the champions slotted in the middle of the table.
In the third game, Sol Island Auto Conaree held table toppers Horsford’s St. Paul’s to a 1-1 draw.
Action continues this evening at the same venue with two more matches in Round Seven.
