BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, November 15, 2017 (PLP PR Media Inc.) -- The going is certainly getting rough for defending champion Unity Domino Club in the second round of the round robin stage of the on-going 22nd edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition.

On Tuesday November 14 the reigning champion travelled to the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion in Molineux where they met the home team Molineux Domino Club whom they had narrowly beaten 13-12 in the first round. But in this encounter the home team Molineux rose to the occasion and beat Unity 13-11.

In the second game held at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion on Tuesday evening, Beers avenged their first round loss at the hands of Unstoppable by comfortably beating them 13-8.

Saddlers Domino Club, that had suffered a humiliating loss at home in Constituency Number Six to Mansion Upsetters in the first round, rallied to revenge in real style by humbling them 13-5 in a game played at their home ground the Domino House in Mansion.

Also avenging a first round loss was Small Corner Bar Domino Club. In the first round they had been beaten 7-14 by Parsons, but on Tuesday evening Small Corner beat Parsons 13-7 in a game played at the Bernette Bar in Hidden Alley Lodge Village.

In other games Lodge crushed Sylver’s 13-2 at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project; Christchurch beat Guinness 13-7 also at the Bernette Bar in Hidden Alley Lodge Village; while Tabernacle were in no compromising mood when they crushed Giants 13-3 at the Lodge Community Centre - they had beaten them with same score-line in the first round.

The league continues in the home-away second round of the round robin stage of the competition with the twelfth segment of seven games that will be played on Thursday November 16 at five venues. All games start at 7:30 pm.

The Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project will host two games that will see defending champions Unity meeting Small Corner which upset them in the first round; and Giants will be facing Parsons which is one of the two teams from Constituency Number Six in the league.

The Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion in Molineux will also host two games where Molineux will be at home to the visiting Lodge, and Unstoppable will be meeting Mansion Upsetters.

In other games, Beers and Guinness will square it off at the Bernette Bar in Hidden Alley Lodge Village; Tabernacle will be hosting Sylver’s at T-Vill’s Hang Out Spot in Tabernacle Village; and Christchurch will be entertaining Saddlers, the other team from Constituency Number Six, at the Domino House in Mansion.
