Cayon scores big win in Women’s League, Sandy Point slams Bath United in Division 1

    November 17th, 2017 -- Sandy Point F.A. slammed Bath United 5-1 in Division 1 football action on the weekend in Sandy Point. It was a humbling from Sandy Point as even the goal Bath scored was an own goal in the 70th minute by Jaden Rose. Shareef Thompson got the ball rolling with a 9th minute goal, Shaquan added another in the 13th minute, the first of his hat trick. Elzandi Warner added another in the 40th minute followed by two more goals from Shaquan Pemberton to round out his man of the match performance.

    Meanwhile, on Sunday, in the Elvis Star Browne Women’s League in Sandy Point, Flow 4G Cayon registered a 3-0 win over Sandy Point F.A. Tyeja O’Loughlin scored twice in the 22nd and 41st minute and Shekola Wilson in the 10th minute. On Tuesday, the match between Rams Village Superstars and Winners Circle Newtown United which was scheduled for the Lime Kiln playing fireld did not commence because Newtown had insufficient players to start the match.
