Armed bandits rob Nevis business establishment

    CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – REPORTS reaching this publication state that the owners of a business establishment at Craddock Road, Charlestown, Nevis were on Thursday night (Nov. 23) robbed by two armed bandits.

     

    According to reports, while Keith Claxton and Janet Browne were closing their business establishment, two masked men, one armed with a handgun, entered the building and ordered them to lie on the floor.

    The two bandits then reportedly stole a number of items, including a cell phones, a bag and nearly $10,000 in cash before making good their escape.

    Fortunately, neither Claxton nor Browne was injured during the daring robbery and it is said that police are investigating.
