BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AS more young men in St. Kitts and Nevis continue to find themselves on the wrong side of the law, Noel Nicholls is setting himself apart from the pack.
The 19-year-old took his first steps into the world of entrepreneurship, on Sunday (Dec. 3), and officially opened EQNOXX (pronounced: e-q-noxx) Multimedia.
According to Nicholls, the business was created to provide a variety of multimedia services in one location.
He explained that far too often, people in St. Kitts and Nevis would have to find multiple media services from multiple providers. Now, with his new establishment, “everything is under one roof”. The agency provides a variety of services, including photography, videography, drone services, photography, videos and voice overs.
“Basically, it is an all in one. It is a one stop place where you can come and get everything done by one company, instead of having to move around to find different persons to get your stuff done.”
The dream, according to Nicholls was birthed out of high school, when he started doing graphics by himself.
“I needed photos for my graphic designs so I picked up a camera and started taking photos,” he said.
The young man has high aspirations for himself and his establishment, as he told SKNVibes that he is eyeing the possibility of expanding operations to the regional market.
Dr. Arnaldo Bailey told the young man that St. Kitts and Nevis has instability, and urged him not to take that path but put emphasis into what he has endeavored to undertake and he would be successful.
“Noel is one such person who is prepared to step out of the normal.”
The company is offering a 20% discount during December, in recognition of Noel’s 20th birthday.
