CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – A TEENAGER of Pond Hill is nursing gunshot wounds at the Alexandra Hospital following a shooting incident in the Fountain area on Saturday, July 4.

SKNVibes understands that 17-year-old Jarvis Liburd was shot twice - in the shoulder and abdomen - sometime after 8.00 p.m. He was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is warded in critical condition.

Reports indicate that friends and relatives had converged on the hospital to donate blood to the shooting victim.

According to the police, no arrest has been made and investigations are ongoing.

The police are also requesting that any person with information of this shooting is asked to call the New Castle Police Station at 469-9326. All information received will be held in strict confidence.
