Parry reportedly tenders resignation following stinging NRP defeat

By: Jermine Abel, SKNVibes.com
CHARLESTOWN, Nevis Dec. 20.17 – LEADER of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP), Joseph Parry has reportedly tendered his resignation from that position after the party’s defeat in Monday’s local elections.

SKNVibes News contacted Deputy leader of the Party, Hensley Daniels, but he could neither confirm nor deny reports.

He told SKNVibes that Parry was expected to make a public statement shortly.

The Nevis reformation Party lost the elections 4-1 to the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM).

Parry has been at the helm of the party for a number of years and has been consistently winning his seat in St. Thomas.

He returned that seat at the elections, winning 518 to 229 for CCM’s Keith Scarborough.

More details as information becomes available.
