BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 7TH 2005 Kittitians and Nevisians living in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands are to meet with St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Denzil L. Douglas on Thursday.
The Federation's Honorary Consul in St. Thomas, Mr. St. Clair Tobias said Prime Minister Douglas will use the opportunity of his attendance at the 10th Annual Carib News Multi National Business Conference in Charlotte Amalie, to hold a public meeting at the French Town Community Center on Thursday night at 7:30 P.M.
Dr. Douglas is expected to inform nationals during the meeting about the economic, political and social strides made over the last year following his Labour Party's re-election to a third term consecutive term in Government.
The St. Kitts and Nevis leader is expected to highlight the several plans in the areas of hotel development in particular and tourism in general, agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructural development, national security, social development, the economic challenges and regional and international issues.
