BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Dec.30.17 – THE biggest event on the National Carnival Calendar is expected to be entertaining and high-energy, as all the Soca performers for the 2017 Inception Fete are on island and ready to perform.
Trinidad power Soca couple Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons, along with Barbadian songster Lil Rick will headline the eighth edition of the Inception Fete, which will be held at the Warner Park Football Stadium.
Also on the roster are: Rucas HE, Mr. Bagnal and his Band, Akaii and LAX and Kt.
At a press conference at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort this morning, Garlin reminded that he and Lyons have been in St. Kitts many times, and every time the energy has always been high in their performances, and tonight would be no different.
“If there is going to be any difference there is going to be an increase,” he said.
Lyons called on her fans to come in their sneakers and flats shoes, and be prepared for an entertaining evening of Soca music.
“It is a couple more days before 2018 comes, so let us do this with a bang.”
Lil Rick, who is in the Federation for the first time, intimated that it is going to be an evening of fun and excitement, as “I am going to do my best and punch up the place”.
They have all called on the citizens and residents to turn out in “unity” and enjoy an evening full of fun.
Patrons entering the venue would be given a special “Big Bad” welcome cocktail.
All the local performers and bands are looking forward to performing on stage alongside the three entertainers.
The show would be hosted by Patrick ‘The Hypeman’, while DJ Aswal will be spinning tracks on the stage.
Tonight’s event kicks off from 9:00 p.m., and the public is urged to get out early and be entertained.
