BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, Jan. 14.2018- AN autopsy conducted on the remains of the 29-year-old Torday Burroughs of Cayon, has confirmed that his death was by drowning.
Burroughs was with friends over at Carambola Beach when he was found floating face down, on January 4.
Early reports had indicated that he may had hit his head while diving.
An autopsy was carried out on January 9, by Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nunez, who confirmed “that the cause of death was asphyxia due to drowning”.
Burroughs was transported to the JNF Hospital where he was pronounced dead by Dr. Gutierrez.
